Home, that's where I am.

Sitting at home. Took off work to wait on an appraiser. We're trying to refinance to get out from under a bad loan. Yes, we're one of the subprime loan "victims". Actually, we knew what we were getting into. It doesn't make it any easier to pay that steadily rising house payment though. So, hopefully we'll be under the thumb of a different lender very soon. One that's going to give us a fixed rate (yay) and save us approximately $300 a month (even bigger yay).

Well, anyway. The appraisers been and gone. All that preparation and he was only here about 10 minutes. Oh, well.

Kennels... Only one person calls me this. That would be my wife. I call her Nickles sometimes. Since I stole this idea from her blog I figured I'd use her lame nick for me since she posted my nick for her.

Lawrence Kansas. That's the campus of Kansas University. I was born here. Left for about 23 years, though my grandparents lived here and we came down all the time to visit. Came back after I married my wonderful wife and we've lived here ever since.
